SHOULD YOUR INTERNS BE PAID?

There are a lot of advantages in hiring an intern, they bring about fresh ideas, help create more awareness among their peers, increase the productivity of the organization, and often end up becoming a full-time employee.

Most organization around your region could be paying their interns, while some won't because of their tight budget, or because the organization attract interns who are willing to work with no pay.

Be that as it may, the Big question is, DO YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM?

We took this question to the street, we were amazed by the feedback we got. Most of the people we spoke to channelled their opinion around Slave labour, while the others were willing to get the experience and wouldn't mind working for free.

The information mix could be overwhelming, huh?

After talking to two internship experts, it was confirmed that it is not an easy task. there are ethical, legal and moral questions surrounding the "should your interns be paid". however it still falls back to you deciding what is best for your business.

If you are faced with issues like this, you probably would have a lot to think about, but these are the basics.
