A renowned Film Production firm situated at Victoria Island is looking to hire staff. The organization is known for documenting and narrating Nigerian culture through theatre, television, film, and music

POSITIONS AVAILABLE;

1) Communication Manager

Job Description

Your main duties will also include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed media activity reports. Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials.
  • Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
  • Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

2) Project Manager: 

The right candidate will work very closely with the CEO and Operations Manager, and our production team & external producers to ensure every stage of our film and television projects is well communicated and run smoothly. We require someone who is highly adaptable and capable of thinking on their feet when challenges arise.

Responsibilities:


  • Managing production television and film timelines and administrative projects
  • Managing project budgets and finances
  • Liaising with external production teams, outsource suppliers and partners
  • Monitoring the progress of the project and providing regular updates
  • Creating coherent and thorough project timelines and schedules
  • Reporting on projects as and when required
  • Working collaboratively on different projects and providing administrative support


Requirements:


  • Proven Project Planning and Project Risk experience (2 years +)
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills
  • An understanding of how to build and manage complex budgets
  • Organized and methodical with high attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to monitor and check works or information and plan time and resources efficiently even under the pressure of multiple demands
  • Confident user of Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
