Under the canvas of Yaba Lagos, we marked a significant milestone - a decade of empowering lives through education and transforming lives. The 10th Year Anniversary Alumni celebration was a day that wove together memories, aspirations, and the shared journey of individuals who had walked through our doors.

The celebration commenced with a vibrant welcome by the event's MCs who were our alumni.

Then our CEO, Molade Adeniyi took the opening address which encapsulated the essence of the occasion; celebrating 10 years of training and providing opportunities for young people in West Africa.

Another important aspect of the celebration was a fireside chat with some of our oldest alumni and employer partners. They spoke candidly about life before, during, and after the WAVE training, highlighting how the training has impacted their career growth even in transitioning into different paths.

They also shared strategies for success and the lessons learned from challenges. One major learning from that particular session was that constantly putting in the work and being willing to learn would lead to significant professional progress.
