Alum case study- Eunice Kingsley

Eunice Kingsley
Batch 20
Role-Coffee Barrister
Employer-Neo Cafe

Eunice heard about WAVE from one of our admissions officers. Before then, she had just deferred her admission because of financial challenges and was job hunting so she applied to WAVE to get a job. One of the most challenging aspects of the programme for Eunice was "sitting in one position and listening for hours without having to do anything else e.g side talking/chatting or playing with my phone.'' Eunice secured a job as a coffe barrister with Neo Cafe where she did her job shadow. Some of the most important skills she learned at WAVE applied on the job include; persuasive and upselling-I have been able to talk to customers into buying drinks that they have not had before and they end up buying it." Eunice would love to own a shopping mall because she likes to "meet people's  needs and expectations. More to this, it's always been grandma's dream and I wish to fulfil it."
