Yahaya had just completed his secondary school education and offered his service to catering to people at parties, ceremonies and so on at no cost. He heard about WAVE via word of mouth and applied to the programme in order to earn a living and save to further his education. Yahaya secured a job a week after graduation as a housekeeper with Amara suites. He highlighted some of his biggest challenges during the programme which included resuming early as well as coming in front of the class to make presentations because he was very reserved. Yahaya, when asked about the most important skill he learned at WAVE and how it has helped so far on the job said,"the skill on how to relate with customers or clients and ensuring maximum satisfaction or close to it.''

"My advice for the next batch is to stay calm and excel in any given challenge"
